Water transparent effect in photoshop

Step: 1

To make the girl into transparent water effect we have to erase her skin. We just need only her clothes to visible now make clone of this layer or simply press and hold ctrl + j. please make sure to Inactive the original layer. Now select pen tool or press the (p) button on your keyboard. So lets get started now select her skin with pen tool hands neck arms and stomach too. If you cant select the skin perfect then use the navigator on the top right panel to zoom in and out. After selecting the hands arms and stomach right click on the image and select inverse. You have selected now all the skin from her body  and now you have to create a add layer mask go to layers > masks > add layer mask.

Step: 2

Click here to get the rain or water image. Copy this image to the girl layer and set this layer below down to the layer mask and name it ' Water '.

Now set the area to the stomach area which we have erased by using pen tool,select the mask from layers. Now you have to load the invert selection.

So go to filter > selection > select > load selection > check the invert selection option there. It will help you to choose and see only the stomach and fingers skin.

Go to water layer right click on the select layer image click on select > transform quick add and then set the select correctly. Blend the layer very nicely until you are happy with the effect and use eraser tool to make it more perfect and clear.

Now remove the skin and the hair by using eraser or press (e) to select the eraser tool, better you use the pen tool. Select the paint tool with the black colour fill it in the selection of the skin. Remember to make a duplicate layer of this layer.

Step: 3

We have to fill the girl pant with the dark blue colour using paint tool. Go to quick selection tools panel and choose quick magic tool and select area of her pant, right click on the selection and copy it to the above of the layer mask. Make it more perfect and clear with eraser tool.

Select the clone step tool to remove the reflection of the legs and copy the  floor by selecting clone stamp tool in the left photoshop tools panel  and press and hold the ALT key on the floor and release the ALT key and start to paste the copied floor on the reflection of her legs. Remember to use the erase tool to blend the reflection.

Step: 4

To transform the skin into water effect go to brush tools panel select a brush with pixels of 65. Brush blending mode should be set to saturation and opacity should be set to 98%. Now replace the pant colour with black and grey.

Step: 5

We have to replace the skin with transparent water effect. Press ctrl + j to create the duplicate layer, select the brush tool or press the (B) button to select the brush and px should be set to 2.5 px. If you have a computer mouse then it will be very easy to get the perfect shape as shown in the image.
