Dynamic photoshop lighting effect

Step: 1

Use your desired image for creating a glowing effect as shown in the preview. You can download the image which

i am using here, click here to download the picture. Now we need to cut out the girl body so we need to select

the pen tool in the photoshop. Cut the girl hair using pen tool and then the body, then refine the edges of  your selection.

Step: 2

Now go to photoshop tools panel and selection quick selection tool or press (w) key. Now press the alt key on

your keyboard and selection the girl body to refine the edges.

Step: 3

Name that layer to body and go to blending options and create a layer mask. Now we need to get into the refine

mask so press and hold alt + ctrl + r buttons together. Fix the edges of the girl body.

Step: 4

Go to photoshop tools panel and select the brush tool with white. Start to paint the soft edges of the girl

body and the hair don't use it too much it will make the image not look perfect.

We are going to use the clone stamp tool press the (s) key on your keyboard to select the clone stamp. Press

the alt key and start to refine and fix the girl's legs arms and hips.

Step: 5

Go to photoshop tools panel and select gradient paint tool and go to gradient color options. Select white and

black color and apply these two colors on the layer mask and press alt + ctrl + g to apply the clipping mask

layer down to body layer.

Step: 6

Now create a layer and set the blending option to color overlay. Now go to photoshop tools panel and select

the paint gradient color icon.

Go to gradient color options and and you will see 4 different sliders to get four different colors. Set the 4

colors in the gradient paint tool. You can use the colors as shown in the given image.

You can use the given colors selection which are already in the gradient color editor. You can use rainbow

color and green and white and many more patterns

Step: 7

We have to make a side by side angled gradient effect, select the gradient tool. Now fill up the layer as shown

in the given image.

Go to layers panel and select layer clipping mask and fill it with black or white. Now select the quick brush

tool to paint the areas of the model body.

Step: 8

In this step number 8 we are going to create color mask and gradient color layer mask to add some more

excitement in the hue and saturation effect. To make the effect more beautiful and glowing.

Step: 9

Go to photoshop tools panel and select the brush tool with white color and start painting over the area of the

model body, cloths and arms.

In the layers panel select the blending option and tick the outer glow and inner grow and set the angle to 40

and scale to 46, size should be set to 32.

Now add some shining , glow effect and sparkles to the model's body and cloths.

Step: 10

Here we need the adobe illustrator cs 4 or above version. Go to tools panel and select pen line tool and begin

to create line design as shown in the given image.

when you done the line work here, then go to image > adjustment > transform and select the rotate option. Keep

rotating the image until you see as we have in the given image below.

Now change the angle of this triangle to 51° and copy this line layer and make 4 different layers and rotate

all these layers as we done before. Now merge the layers and name this single layer to illustrator lines.

Go to file option then click on save as and select the file type as ( photoshop psd file ).

Step: 11

Import the file which we have created in step number 10. Now right click on the lines layer and click on add

layer mask.

Now go to blending options select the over lay to color, check the inner and outer glow option. Select the

gradient overlay and a brush with black color. Now use pink blue and yellow colors for colorful abstract

effect.

Step: 12

We need the to create the galaxy and the stars in this step for creating more glow and abstract color effect.

Go to photoshop tools panel and select the quick brush tool, create some stars using the brush and remember to

select the white color.

Now create some squares and 10 px size dots using the quick brush tool. Now create 3 duplicate layers and apply

different overlay with different colors to get wonderful lighting abstract effect as shown in the given image.

Step: 13

We need to improve the contrast color, balance and hue saturation. Go to image > adjustment > brightness and levels, now move the sliders to different levels and you will see the sharpen and improved quality of the picture.
