swaping colours in photoshop


Step: 1


Open the image file which you wanna use in photoshop, you have to focus

on the area of the photo. you have. Duplicate the layer or press ( ctrl

 + j ).

Step: 2


Go to Adjustments, open the channel mixer to create a Adjustment mask

in the layer  list. First limit the layer effects on Jewellry before

alter the colors.

Step: 3


Select the adjustment mask layer, press the ( CTRL + I ) to convert the

adjustment mask from black to white.

Step: 4


Select the adjustment layer mask. Select the desired photo areas which you wanna give the white effect. There are  lots of ways to do it, even

we can also use the curves and refine edge tool to select the desired

Area. On the small area its easy to paint it with white brush. Even you

will not see any changes to the photo, you will see white areas on the

adjustment layer mask.

Step: 5


Go to Adjustments/ out put channel, you will see red,blue and green

sliders. Currently its set to Red, set the red slider to 0 and blue

slider should be also 0  and the green should be set to 100.

Step: 6


Go to Adjustments/ out put channel/blue, and blue should be 0 and red

should also be 0 change the green to 100. The areas will look dark grey.

we will improve it  on the next step  to create a great effect.

Step: 7


We have to make the silver effect so lets do some experiments with the

channel sliders until you find the best effect for your photo. the

photo which shown in right side of this article, added 20 percent blue

to remove some spots and to make it more clear and sharp. colors

layer should be  like that as shown in the right side of the article.

Step: 8


If you are seeing  that you have a perfect color then go to brush set

its color to black. Clean the areas of the mask carefully.
